Gov. Andy Beshear gave an update Tuesday on the impacts of the deadly May 16 tornado that hit Kentucky and the state's ongoing response.
"We're gonna keep coming back over, and over, and over to show everybody that we're going to rebuild every structure and every life," Gov. Andy Beshear said.
The family's home was picked up and thrown across the street when a tornado ripped through the area, destroying everything they own.
A reported tornado claimed lives in Laurel County, causing destruction and displacing many. Shelters are open and efforts are underway to help those affected.
