A monstrous winter storm is expected to hit the tri-state area on Sunday — dumping up to 12 inches in some areas. A weather event like the one that is anticipated for the region makes for incredibly dangerous driving and travel conditions.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A major snowstorm brought significant service changes to New York’s transit systems on Sunday and Monday. MTA officials, Gov. Kathy Hochul, and Mayor Zohran Mamdani urged New Yorkers to avoid all unnecessary travel through Monday afternoon.
