The Texas Rangers placed All-Star shortstop Corey Seager on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday due to a right hamstring strain. The move was retroactive to Sunday. In a corresponding move, the Rangers activated catcher Kyle Higashioka (mild left intercostal strain) from the 10-day IL.

Corey Seager was placed on the 10-day injured list again Tuesday by the Texas Rangers after the two-time World Series MVP shortstop had already missed four of their previous five games because of right hamstring soreness.
