SpaceX is targeting Sunday, July 21, for its next mission from Florida’s Space Coast, with a Falcon 9 rocket scheduled to lift off during a launch window opening at 5 p.m. EDT.

More than two dozen Starlink satellites were delivered into low-Earth orbit Tuesday evening when a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base on the California coast. The Falcon 9 carried 26 Starlink internet satellites into space.

Florida's Space Coast has already seen 61 rocket launches in 2025, significantly ahead of 2024's record-breaking cadence. The increase in launches is attributed to the deployment of mega-constellations of internet satellites, primarily by SpaceX's Starlink.

As SpaceX rocket launches increase at the Vandenberg Space Force Base, not all Californians have been welcoming of the plans.
