Many questioned the Cleveland Browns after they drafted Dillon Gabriel in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft back in April and Shedeur Sanders two rounds later. With Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett already on the roster, the Browns were seemingly of the philosophy that one can never have too many quarterbacks.

Sanders starred for two seasons at the University of Colorado under coach, father and NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders. In his final year (2024), he completed a nation-leading 74.0% of his passes for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns.
