Computer models are coming into reasonable agreement that the D.C. area will see snow Friday night into early Saturday. This won’t be a big a storm, but up to a couple of inches could fall in parts of the region.

Officials state it is due to the continued impact of the winter storm along with the current winter storm warning in effect for the area.

A low-pressure system is moving across the country, delivering rain, snow, and ice to much of the southeast. This same system will be making its way along the east coast early this weekend, bringing a chance for accumulating snow to the tri-state.
