Families of the University of Idaho murder victims spoke directly to their children's admitted killer Bryan Kohberger at his sentencing hearing.

After Bryan Kohberger was sentenced for the murders of students Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin, unsealed reports provided further insight into their gruesome deaths.

Following Kohberger's life sentence, Moscow Police releases documents showing brutality of crime, police scanner searches and accounts of strange behavior.

Though the motive behind Bryan Kohberger's violent attack remains unknown, the former police chief says "new information could come out still."

Jeff Kernodle was near Moscow the night of the murders, and said he wanted to check in on his daughter when she told him she was feeling sick.

“Today I stand before you, the man that is responsible for murdering my beautiful daughter, Xana Kernodle. My daughter was beautiful inside and out.” She said that Xana brought joy and laughter to her friends, family and all who knew her. She said her faith has kept her strong through her healing.

New details in the Bryan Kohberger case are being released in previously sealed reports from the Moscow Police Department.

Over 300 documents were released Wednesday after Bryan Kohberger was sentenced to life in prison for the brutal 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students.
