John Cena is set to return this weekend at WWE Royal Rumble in hopes of being one step closer to becoming a 17-time World Champion before he officially retires.

After nearly two decades as the face of WWE, Cena will hang it up at the end of 2025. That means he will compete at the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania for the final time. There is a chance that he will also compete at SummerSlam as well in August.

Cena has one last chance at true greatness. If he wins the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble Match, he can main event WrestleMania one last time and potentially get his 17th world title win. Challenging Cody would be the biggest bout possible and certainly the most memorable.
