Country singer joins forces with JR Motorsports to support Justin Allgaier’s Daytona 500 debut, aiming for a historic race finish.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be an owner at the Daytona 500 for the first time in 2025 with Justin Allgaier driving and Chris Stapleton sponsoring the car.

JR Motorsports announced Wednesday that reigning Xfinity Series champion Justin Allgaier will attempt next month’s Daytona 500 piloting the No. 40 Chevrolet in partnership with 10-time Grammy Award-winning artist Chris Stapleton.

JR Motorsports announced Jan. 15 it will field a Cup entry for February's Daytona 500, with 2024 Xfinity champion Justin Allgaier as pilot.
