Shake Shack, Delta Air Lines
Delta passengers flying out of Los Angeles will soon be able to enjoy Shake Shack on select flights, as the fast casual chain and the airline announces an expanded partnership. In November, Delta
US-based legacy carrier Delta Air Lineshas announced that it will be expanding its partnership with American fast-food chain Shake Shack, as it will be offering first-class passengers the option to pre-select a Shake Shack cheeseburger meal on select flights out of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The move comes on the heels of a December initial launch out of Boston after the airline served more than 10,000 burgers in the air, Delta said.
This technically isn’t the first time you’ve been able to tote a Shake Shack burger onboard a Delta flight in L.A.: In 2017, Shake Shack opened a location inside Terminal 3—and it even served breakfast—though that outpost appears to have shuttered sometime around late 2020.

Beginning Tuesday, Delta is serving Shake Shack cheeseburgers to first-class customers on flights over 900 miles that depart from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, New York City's LaGuardia Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
