But at 1:30 p.m. PT, the Mariners announced via a post on "X" (formerly known as Twitter) that the team had come to a one-year agreement with infielder Donovan Solano.

Robert Murray of FanSided reports that the ACES client will make $3.5MM this year, with $1MM in performance bonuses also available to him. Left-hander Austin Kitchen was designated for assignment to open a 40-man roster spot.
