Here is how UCLA's starter performed against Northwestern

UCLA needed a major victory as it tries to build its NCAA tournament resume – and it got one against Purdue on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

UCLA’s focus, rather, is on Northwestern. After their best win of the season, and a high-pressure finish, the Bruins reminded themselves to reset, to get back to work and keep improving, as senior Tyler Bilodeau put it. They held shortened practices on Wednesday and Thursday to help the starters recover as each played over 34 minutes on Tuesday.

That’s what UCLA sophomore guard Trent Perry has found out in the new role that’s been thrust upon him. With star senior guard Skyy Clark out with a hamstring injury, Perry has become regular starter for the Bruins, and he hasn’t disappointed.
