A man has died after he was found lying on a sidewalk in Florida City Thursday morning with a gunshot wound to the chest, authorities confirmed to Local 10 News.

The victim, who Miami-Dade police identified as 22-year-old Marco Ortiz Rodriguez, was in the rear passenger seat of a Ford F-150 pickup truck that was traveling west on SW 344th St. A 1994 Toyota Corolla driven by Torres Figueras pulled alongside the truck and displayed a handgun, according to the report.
