The Los Angeles Clippers saw an injury sideline head coach Tyronn Lue for the remainder of Sunday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. Prior to tip-off, the Clippers sent Lue home due to back pain, team reporter Brad Turner revealed.

Los Angeles Clippers coach Tyronn Lue missed his team’s game against the Sacramento Kings because of back pain. Lue attended his pre-game session with media on Sunday night and gave no indication he was having any issue.

LA Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue is out for Sunday’s game and possibly beyond that as well. The Clippers announced on Sunday that Lue had gone home due to back pain and would not be coaching that night against the Sacramento Kings.

This will be the third of four meetings between the two teams this season, however, this will be the first time the Clippers will see the new-look Kings since the trade deadline.
