It's been another especially active severe weather season across the Lone Star State, driven by persistent upper-level low pressure systems and abundant atmospheric moisture riding north from the Gulf of Mexico.

The National Weather Service warns of more severe storms expected late Tuesday evening into early Wednesday morning across Central Texas.

A severe thunderstorm watch is issued until 2 a.m. for Collin, Dallas, Delta, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Lamar, Navarro, Rains, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant and Van Zandt counties.
