Over the years, Warner Bros. has tried to monetize its catalog of older movies through different subscription streaming services, including FilmStruck — which it shut down less than a year after it launched in 2018.

Most of these offerings aren’t available on the Warner Bros. streaming platform, Max. There’s no explanation as to why the entertainment giant has made these movies free to watch on YouTube, or why this perplexing set of films was selected, but it’s one less barrier to accessing some (admittedly obscure) content without a subscription or paywall.

If you've found yourself with a dozen streaming service subscriptions and nothing to watch, try YouTube as your next option, as Warner Bros. just recently added 31 films ranging across various genres to the video platform to watch-totally for free!

Warner Bros. Entertainment has been uploading a number of movies from its catalogue to YouTube. While most of these aren't necessarily classics, there are plenty of interesting titles to check out.

The films that can now be streamed for free on YouTube span a range of genres and decades. Some of the notable titles include Michael Collins (1996), Waiting for Guffman (1996), The Mission (1986), and Deathtrap (1982).

Over 30 Warner Bros. films are free to stream on YouTube, but they are of varying quality. For every 'Mutiny on the Bounty,' there's a 'Pluto Nash.'

Warner Bros. has been quietly uploading full movies to its YouTube channel, letting anyone watch them for free. There are currently 31 movies available to stream right now on YouTube, and some of them are good!
