Yolanda Marodi, who is suspected in the slaying of her wife, a Cal Fire captain, pleaded guilty in 2004 to voluntary manslaughter in the fatal stabbing of her then-husband.

The wife of a Cal Fire captain found stabbed to death in her San Diego County home was identified as a suspect Thursday by law enforcement officials, who confirmed she previously served time in prison in connection with another killing.

Rebecca Marodi was found in her San Diego-area home Monday. A woman has been identified as a suspect in her slaying, but her whereabouts are unknown.
