The Boston Red Sox still haven't figured out a clear solution to the ongoing Rafael Devers drama, but one MLB writer has an idea.

Devers has been Boston's best hitter this season and has only ascended in his role as the DH. Despite that, many former Red Sox players have decided to weigh in on the Devers drama with what they believe the 28-year-old lefty slugger should do.

Spotrac puts his market value at 12 years, $539 million. ESPN's Jeff Passan also recently had Tucker in his rarefied air of players who could sign $500 million contracts. And if the Cubs are the ones making that happen, it's pretty unlikely they'll then turn around and trade for the roughly quarter of a billion dollars left on Devers' deal.
