Colorado Rockies, MLB Draft and matt holliday

The Colorado Rockies selected a familiar name with the No. 4 overall pick in Major League Baseball's annual draft Sunday night. The Rockies used their first-round selection on Ethan Holliday, son of longtime big leaguer Matt Holliday and younger brother of current Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jackson Holliday.
Thomas Harding of MLB.com reported that senior director of scouting operations Marc Gustafson gave insight into the selection, and pointed to Holliday's raw physical traits like power that can only stand to massively develop for the 18-year-old.
The St. Louis Cardinals likely won't get a chance at Ethan Holliday in the MLB Draft, but that could be a blessing, and Matt Holliday knows it.
Holliday is the son of Rockies legend Matt and Orioles young star Jackson. The pitchers on the board are LSU's Kade Anderson, Tennessee's Liam Doyle and Florida State's Jamie Arnold. The Sporting News' final mock draft has Anderson going to the Nats, not Holliday.
