Yankees manager Aaron Boone revealed Saturday that star hitter Aaron Judge will be placed on IL after suffering a flexor strain, however, the good news for New York is that his UCL remains intact.

New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge will be placed on the injured list after being diagnosed with a flexor strain, manager Aaron Boone told reporters on Saturday.

The Yankees, who entered Tuesday with a 57-49 record and a 5½-game deficit in the American League East, have attempted to help offset Judge's absence by acquiring two new hitters over the last few days: third baseman Ryan McMahon and utility infielder Amed Rosario.
