D Gukesh maintained his half-point lead with an easy draw against Wei Yi of China, while R Praggnanandhaa outwitted top seed Fabiano Caruana of the United States at the Tata Steel Masters.

On top of the table with a slender lead, world champion D Gukesh will take on Wei Yi of China in the 11th round of Tata Steel Chess Tournament, aiming to continue his unbeaten streak and claim the season’s first title.

World champion D Gukesh climbed to world no. 3 in the live rankings, and has a 0.5 lead with two rounds to go.

In Round 10 of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2025, Gukesh Dommaraju retained his lead, defeating Max Warmerdam. Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu outplayed Vladimir Fedoseev, while Arjun Erigaisi drew against Vincent Keymer.
