By Jasper Ward and Ismail Shakil WASHINGTON/OTTAWA, Jan 22 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump withdrew on Thursday an invitation for Canada to join his Board of Peace initiative aimed at resolving global conflicts.

Many questions are swirling around the Trump-led Board of Peace, which was originally billed as a committee that would oversee the rebuilding and reconstruction of Gaza.
