South Carolina softball will face UCLA at 3 p.m. ET on May 25 in Game 3 of the NCAA super regional with a trip to the WCWS on the line.

The No. 8 seed Gamecocks beat No. 9 UCLA 9-2 on Friday in game one of the NCAA Tournament super regional series. Head coach Ashley Chastain Woodard and her team earned the victory in front of a sold-out crowd at Carolina Softball Stadium.

The South Carolina softball team (44-15) opened the Columbia Super Regionals with a 9-2 win over UCLA (52-11) Friday afternoon (May 23) at Carolina Softball Stadium. The Gamecocks scored five runs in the first two innings with seven of their nine runs coming with two outs.
