HSN's St. Petersburg campus is closing after more than 40 years in the city. Qurate Retail Group said it is consolidating its QVC U.S. and HSN operations to a Pennsylvania location.

Some will continue working with us for several months, mainly to support the transition of the HSN broadcast and the St. Petersburg campus," QVC Group said in a news release Thursday.

QVC Group is laying off roughly 900 employees as part of a broader reorganization that includes the relocation of its HSN operations from Florida to the company’s West Chester headquarters campus.

As part of the restructuring, Qurate will close HSN’s long-time campus in St. Petersburg, Fla., where is was founded in 1977. Operations will relocate to corporate headquarters in West Chester, Penn.
