The record-breaking $5,037,392 for "Wicked" contributed to what Crain's has confirmed was the second-highest grossing week in Broadway history. Totaling $55.8 million, this holiday week trailed just that of 2018, when ticket sales for the week ending Dec. 30 topped $57.8 million.

The grosses were propelled by the holidays as well as the planned closings of several shows, including Suffs, which ended its run Jan. 5 with its highest gross yet of $1.3 million. The musical, which won the 2024 Tony Awards for best book and best score and was co-produced by Hillary Clinton, opened at the Music Box Theatre on April 18, 2024.

Running from January 21 through February 9, fans are able to save big with two-for-one tickets at 27 of Broadway’s most popular shows.
