Vandersloot is a legendary figure in the Sky organization, returning to Chicago this offseason after spending the last two years with the New York Liberty. She spent the first 12 seasons of her career with the Sky, winning the WNBA Finals in 2021, and is one of the most decorated players in league history.

The 2025 WNBA Draft was filled with potential superstars. The Dallas Wings selected former UConn star Paige Bueckers first overall. However, the talent pool was deep. Just ten picks later, Hailey Van Lith heard her name called, as the former TCU star was selected by the Chicago Sky with the 11th pick.

With new Head Coach Tyler Marsh standing by, she and fellow Sky draft picks Maddy Westbeld and Aicha Coulibaly were formally introduced.
