The Boston Celtics have made their second significant trade in as many days. Less than a day after sending Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers, they have dealt Kristaps Porziņģis and a second-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks.

Kristaps Porzingis is being traded by the Boston Celtics to the Atlanta Hawks, and part of what will be a three-team deal gives the Brooklyn Nets another selection in Wednesday’s first round of the NBA Draft, according to a person with knowledge of the agreement.

Now, the Celtics are sending center Kristaps Porziņģis and a second-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks in a three-team deal with the Brooklyn Nets that sees Boston taking back the contract of Georges Niang ($8.2 million) and a second-rounder, meaning they clear over $22 million off Porziņģis' $30.7 million salaty.
