The Miami Dolphins made a second major move involving a former first-round draft pick when they traded safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to the New York Jets for a seventh-round draft pick in a salary cap move.
According to Adam Schefter, the Dolphins are sending Fitzpatrick to the New York Jets in exchange for the 2026 seventh-round pick from the Chargers. The Jets will sign Fitzpatrick to a three-year, $40 million deal, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus.
