Najee Harris, the former standout running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, didn't need the official pronouncements of this past week to understand his tenure with the team was coming to a close.

Running back Najee Harris signed with the Chargers this week, after four years in Pittsburgh. It wasn't a difficult decision for him to leave the Steelers. Meeting with reporters on Friday, Harris said he knew halfway through the 2024 season that he wouldn't be returning.

While many NFL players relish the chance to test free agency, Najee Harris didn't give it much thought during his final season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Harris did ultimately test the market, signing a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers,

Metcalf will sign a five-year, $150 million contract extension with the Steelers upon joining them. The extension will include four new years and $132 million in new money, per the report. Russell Wilson would be a solid option for either the Browns or the Giants, who desperately need a new starting quarterback.
