A Philadelphia school resource officer is in critical condition after being shot near the Race Street Pier in Center City early Sunday morning.

The on-duty officer, 68, was shot multiple times when a driver flagged him down to report an incident on I-95, and someone in a third vehicle opened fire, police say.
