Corewell Health (Grand Rapids, Mich.) announced plans to build a new patient tower at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital in Troy, Mich., according to a news release.

The award recipients represent healthcare facilities across 15 categories including ambulatory surgery center, cancer center, pediatric, specialty clinic, and urgent care.

The $32 million project will add a new ED, OR, and radiology department, as well as renovations to 7,000 square feet of existing space.

The 8,500-square-foot project includes 10 private patient rooms, a procedure room, nursery, and dedicated elevator connecting to the labor and delivery floor.

The $13 million, 8,800-square-foot project will add five patient rooms on two new floors to meet increase in patient volumes.

The project includes a 20-bed hospital with a 24/7 ED, 10 observation beds, five procedure rooms, and imaging services.
