A MASSIVE police response was launched after man allegedly attacked an officer in Greenock and fled across the Clyde by boat.

No details of what happened have been released so far.

A MAN was arrested for alleged drink-driving after a crash on the A8 at Langbank. The 35-year-old man was driving his Volkswagen Taigo on Saturday around 9am when he crashed and struck a roundabout.
