Severe weather swept through metro Atlanta from Saturday night into Sunday morning, leaving a trail of damage in its wake.

A storm system that killed dozens across the U.S. largely spared the CSRA of damage early Sunday, but there was widespread destruction in some areas of Georgia.The CSRA saw strong gusts, heavy rain, lightning and a series of tornado warnings – although no tornadoes were confirmed.
