Prosecutors seek to extend Bryan Kohberger's no-contact order with victims' families for 99 years following his guilty plea in the murders of four University of Idaho students

Nearly three years after four University of Idaho students were found stabbed to death, Bryan Kohberger will face their loved ones ‒ and life in prison ‒ at a lengthy sentencing hearing on July 23.

In early December came a break in the investigation. Law enforcement issued a BOLO alert for a 2011 white Hyundai Elantra. A car matching that body shape was captured in surveillance footage near the crime scene before and speeding off after the murder.
