By Hannah Lang Feb 3 (Reuters) - A White House meeting aimed at breaking a months‑long stalemate between major U.S. banks and cryptocurrency firms ended Monday without any agreement, underscoring industry divisions that continue to threaten progress on landmark digital‑asset legislation.

The White House is pushing back on reports that President Trump favors a 250-foot-tall “Independence Arch," calling the monument an iconic part of his vision for America’s 250th anniversary.
