The Grouse Grind is a 2.5-kilometre trail up the face of Grouse Mountain, and with 2,830 steps, is commonly referred to as “Mother Nature’s Stairmaster.” Hikers are urged to be prepared in advance of taking on the challenge by wearing appropriate footwear and clothing, as well as bringing water, food, and a cellphone.
