The Kelly Clarkson Show just aired its final episode. Two years ago, it gave me the stage to meet someone who said my video saved their sister’s life. At the time I was a med student, posting about how racism still shapes healthcare. On the show, I met Annise. Her family saw my video on the race-based kidney equation, asked questions, and moved up five years on the kidney transplant list.
