Meet Cory — a pangolin who was rescued early this year. Pangolins are prized for their scales as an ingredient in Chinese medicine and hunted for their meet. All 8 species of pangolin are at risk. But Cory was saved from this fate. The pangolin was found dehydrated and underweight in February 2020. She was recently re-released to the wild in KwaZulu-Natal, in South Africa.
