Come explore Old Newgate Prison and Copper Mine in East Granby CT with me. It had been well over a decade since i last visited and they’ve made a few changes. Some of the ruins have been stabilized and there are more interpreters there to give context to the site. Additionally the mine is now only accessible by a timed ticketed guided tour and not for individual exploration. The museum is open May - October Thursdays thru Monday.
