MISSION NOT ACCOMPLISHED. I failed to reach the summit of Mt. Whitney. I definitely was very disappointed in myself but I made an emotional decision (when I felt good) to go for the summit in one day. I should’ve stuck to the plan to do it in two days! I got excited and over ambitious. I used up all my gas on day one! Lesson learned! I should’ve been more conservative and taken into account I was sick and a bit jet lagged. I will definitely go back to get this summit at some point in the future!
