A few days ago, I visited the largest kauri tree in the world. It is called Tāne Mahuta, meaning “Lord of the Forest.” It lives in the Waipoua Forest, New Zealand, and it’s about between 1,250 and 2,500 years old. It's 148 ft high and 50 ft wide.
