The Castle is much more than a gothic nightclub. Originally built in 1930 as the Union Man’s Hall, this building once hosted cigar workers and labor leaders who met to advocate for fair wages and better conditions. Over time, it became one of Ybor’s most recognizable landmarks, known for being constructed over a natural spring that caused water to occasionally seep through the bricks.
